Lobster Shack Wedding // Louise & David
This Lobster Shack wedding is the closest wedding to home that I have photographed to date; just a short stroll down the road to the wedding venue made a nice change for me, The day started off with bridal preparations taking place at David and Louise’s home just outside Canterbury, where we had a relaxed morning before heading over to Whitstable, where the guests were having a few pre wedding drinks at the Brewery Bar whilst waiting for the gorgeous bride to arrive. After the intimate ceremony, everyone was treated to a few oysters down on the beach. I took the couple away for a few portraits, then we then headed back out with the bridesmaids onto the shingle for an impromptu dipping of the toes into the chilly sea. Rather them than me!
After a great seafood wedding breakfast at the Lobster Shack, it was onto the speeches. The evening entertainment was a Karaoke band, which went down a storm, and there was much singing (not all of it in tune) and dancing late into the night.
