Greenwich Yacht Club Wedding // Amelia & Rich

It was a blisteringly hot day in August for this Greenwich Yacht Club wedding, with a little respite from the weather in the form of a breeze off the water and a kid’s paddling pool for cooling down grown-up feet. Things kicked off at Amelia’s family home, where the girls got themselves ready before travelling over to the yacht club in a lemon yellow VW camper van. The ceremony took place in the Club House which the couple had transformed by suspending dried wild flowers and grasses from the ceiling. It worked really well to make the room feel more cosy and intimate. The sit down dinner courtesy of Hand Made Food was served in a simply decorated marquee – white with a bright yellow, orange and green fabric ceiling, provided by Stitches

The day was hot, so most of the guests were outside taking in the amazing views across the Thames and enjoying the sunshine, and cooling down in the mini paddling pool. When it came to the evening, the amazing African Affect and their hugely talented afro beat musicians made sure everyone had a great time on the dance floor. Evening munchies were catered for by street food giants, Nazari.
