St Pancras Renaissance Wedding // Camilla & Sonny
On the blog today is a St Pancras Renaissance wedding attended by only a very few of the couples’ family and friends. An intimate wedding is what I really love about wedding photography; just a small gathering of close friends and family with very little fuss. When Sonny and Camilla got in touch with their plans for getting married in London then shooting off to Paris straight after, I was delighted to be available to document their day for them. I had not met either of them prior to the day, and as I arrived at Islington Town Hall, I was greeted by a very happy and relaxed Sonny, then a few moments later, Camilla arrived along with family and friends.
Mayor’s Parlour Intimate Ceremony
The ceremony was held in what is my opinion, one of London’s best intimate wedding venues, the Mayor’s Parlour. This tiny, wood-panelled room seats just 12 people, so it is perfect for an intimate wedding. Couples still get to take advantage of Islington Town Hall’s majestic marble staircase, as well as having their confetti moment on the steps outside. We got straight on with the service before heading over to The Gilbert Scott bar at the incredible St Pancras Renaissance for lunch and drinks before the newlyweds headed off to board their train for Paris. The perfect intimate London wedding!
