Lobster Shack Weddings // Michelle & Luke
Whitstable, a seaside town that has stolen many hearts, due to its distinctive character was the chosen destination for Michelle and Luke’s wedding. The East Quay is a wedding venue located along the shingle beach close to the fishing boats that bring home all the local oysters that the town is famous for. Michelle and Luke live in New Zealand and had not even seen the wedding venue prior to arriving in the UK just a short while before the day itself. Michelle’s sister took on the role of being the girl on the ground taking care of things over here in the Uk, She did a great job and made a great choice in Whitstable,
The day started off with a few bridal preparation shots in Tankerton, a short walk away from the East Quay where the quests were anticipating the arrival of the Bride. After the ceremony we were back outside in the sun for drinks and canapés before the guests and wedding party all sat down to enjoy the wedding breakfast. We got some great afternoon low light but sadly missed the sun going down into the sea due to a little too much haze. Lobster Shack weddings are always a joy to photograph, and this one was no exception.
