Dartmoor Wedding // Harrie & Chris
As a Kent wedding photographer, I’m used to documenting weddings in the south east of England, although I do occasionally venture further afield. Earlier this summer I had the pleasure of heading to the south west, to the edge of Dartmoor National Park, or more precisely Lower Grenofen, to photograph Harrie and Chris’s wedding day. Set in the venue’s private grounds, Harrie and Chris had a relaxed, DIY vibe to the day, with picnic baskets and rugs dotted on the lawns, filled with homemade cakes, and garden games and fancy dress boxes scattered around the gardens. After a humanist ceremony in the barn, guests enjoyed the sunshine and the champagne before sitting down for dinner. The evening party was turntables manned by the guests – a novel way to party. Harrie and Chris’s Dartmoor wedding was a pleasure to photograph and in a part of the country I hope to go back to soon.
