I DON’T SHOOT FOR AWARDS – I SHOOT FOR MY COUPLES
I like to keep trumpet blowing to a minimum and just continue to produce honest documentary wedding photography for my couples… but it’s always nice to receive an award from time to time and be able to call myself an award winning wedding photographer. The following images have all won awards in past contests from the WPJA
The WPJA – The Wedding Photojournalist Association – was founded in 2002. It acts as a worldwide directory for couples to find a wedding photojournalist, or an award winning wedding photographer, for their wedding. Focusing on real moments rather than posed pictures, their yearly contests award photographers for their documentary photographs. The award winning photos are displayed on the WPJA website shortly after each contest.
